Its Official !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Taken from the Midland Speed Championship Website

=========================================================
New Classic Ford Class for 2007 NEW!

I can confirm that we will be running an additional handicap class next season for Ford cars of models available before 1st January 1981. Cars manufactured after 1981 will be eligible provided the model was in production before 1st January 1981 (e.g. Mk. 1 Fiesta).
Competitors will have to register for the championship in one of the existing classes, and pay an additional £10 registration fee to be scored in the Classic Ford Handicap class, as is the case now for the Pre-1975 Classic Handicap class.

Just had a look at the midland speed web site www.midlandspeed.org.uk (http://www.midlandspeed.org.uk) & it seems there are only 6 people registered so far. I know there was a lot of enthusiasm shown on here on the initial announcement for the championship but if we are to get this off the ground properly we need your support now ladies & gents. There are a few of the event regulations published already & places are filling up with other cars already. I'd hate to see people missing out here. Last plea for support - get registered now FAST!:thumb: :) That includes the guys at Classic Ford Magazine please:dunno: ;)
