I prefer bands where you can hear the lyrics. I have been into Iron Maiden for years. Been to a few of their concerts. Saw them when Bruce Dickinson had left and that other fella was singin a few years back. Still rocked:rsocmoan:.. like this

i only like 2 heavy bands really, well ramstein are good aswell but not really into em on the same level. Korn is the 1st, was never a fan but as i got more into writing music i realised how well put together their songs are in comparison to most, and the other being RATM, bit text book like but how couldnt you like em!

Goin watching these in Jan!

Pantera :) Think i'll need to stick some on now.

Nighwish just arent the same without Tarja. She was fantastic.

Yeh agree with the nightwish thing but i find it helps if you think of them as a completly different band now, sounds good tho just not as epic or operatic which i think is what made nightwish:thumb:

NIN and Ministry anyone..?

Ministry have the best track title to date imo.. "jesus built my hotrod"

the best anti war song ever?:woohoo:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBGMW86u1Qkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBGMW86u1Qk.

Must admit am getting old as most "morern" rock dosn't do it for me.

on a side note if Tenacious D stopped pi**ing about with the jokes they would rock, Master Explopder is better than you'd expect from them.

I was listening to Discharge back in '82 when they were at their peak, 'Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing' being a huge influencing album to punk and some metal bands around the world, I also got into Suicidal Tendencies around '84, I had to buy their first album as an import.
I've been through the whole speed/thrash/heavy/black/death metal hardcore punk thing over the last 25 years, Youtube is an excellent way of seeing bands live that I never got the chance to at the time.
