Did Schuey let Coulthard win to take the heat off Ferrari? or Did he not want to risk a tangle (not really schuey's style though)?
At the press conference he seemed to avoid the second question a bit and focused on praising DC.

Yup i agree with that, Coulthard wasnt going to give schuy an inch if he tried to overtake, and with Montoya already out he was increasing his lead by 6 points, which was probably a better result than he thought he would get after qualifying.
Yeah i know what you mean, but Schuey just seemed to close Coulthard down and then be happy to sit behind him for 20 or so laps.
Good to see DC win though, thought he was in for it with that engine smoke, clever things those F1 cars though!
There was no point in risking an overtake, 6 points is better than 0 points. no no no! He is Scottish (not that there is anything wrong with that), and we are in England, shouldn't support someone just because of where they come from, oh, and he is a plumb! Jenson Button could do a better job in the Mclaren, no doubt. I could go into pages and pages of stuff why I dislike him, but it's all been said before. He's never going to be a world champion, he just hasn't got what it takes, IMHO.

No Way!http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/tongue.gif! Mclaren finally beat Ross Braun(spelling) in style. You saw the tactical turnaround from Ferrari early on and to show how amazing Ross Braun is they still ended up dead close but the Mclaren guys did a great job and pulled DC in a little early to keep the well faught for track position. There was no way that Michael was going to throw away 6 points by having a go after making such a big deal of how important points are at the previous race. I think it was a great drive by DC and he thoroughly deserved the win. I'll be the first to admit he has small chances of another this season but the lift the win will have given Mclaren means they will hopefully get back into the game.

It did show how good the Ferrari aero package was, the advantage was not as big as on open circuits.

Dup, yeah I agree but it's been a long time coming, if tatics are so important i just don't know how Ferrari can get it right all (most) of the time? That oil fix was double hard, just goes to show what you can do with those cars these days, they are like little robots.

I'm not a euro sceptic, I just think a country should be run by the government in that country, just makes sense! I have nothing against any of the other countries in the UK, we are British, but i'm not going to support DC just because of that, don't think any Engalnd supporters will be supporting Ireland if England get knocked out before them, and vice versa, see what i mean! I just don't like DC, i think he is pants, the only reason he won is because he got in the lead on the 1st corner, around Monaco, there isn't much you can do about that, if Schuey had been in front he would have left DC miles behind, and you know it!

I know what you mean about the footie, although i would cheer for Ireland or Scotland I remeber about 20 of us were in Amsterdam on stag watching the England vs Switzerland game, we nearly got beaten up by 10 Scotts, we would have kicked there arse but they had about 30 Dutch fans behind them too, the whole lot cheering for Switzerland and wanting to batter us.
It just pissed me off that the Scotts weren't on our side, oh well hopfully a minority but i doubt it.
