I really felt for Kimi in that race.

Why is there not a computer system for flag zones etc, that would mean flag jumping would be identified instantly and no question marks arrise over passing manouvres under yellows. While were on that, how come with all the billions of pounds involved has no one ever installed a system that tells the 'position computer' that a cars in the pits, therefore removing the question mark period that happens during every pit window. It would allow a much better understanding of what was going for the viewer.

Yes schuey passed under a yellow, but Raikonnen was off the track at the time, look on the positive side, at least he did,nt ram him as he went by. and i give him 2 maybe 3 years before he packs it in, Senna is still my all time favourite, and he at least had meaningful competition in Prost and Mansell.

Often thought that would Schuey win races so easlily if Senna was about. Still think it's been a bad year for the sport what will the drivers be going for now 2nd place for the season. Let hope we get some closer competition next year.

I think all the M. Shuemacher zealots will be banging on about him being the greatest driver of all times and how he has taken every record in the book etc etc.
He may be the current most winning driver of all but thats only because he has had the best equipment for the last 5 years.
Put him in equal machinery with WPM or Villenueve and take the shackles of Rubino and then see who is the best.
As it has already been pointed out other champions had more of a challenge from either within their own team or other drivers with equal machinery.
Fangio was a gentleman and other champions have been fair racers neither of which MS is imho.
As I have said before there is one record he will never take away from my all time favourite (Nigel) and that is both F1 and CART championships back to back.

Don't forget he out qualified his teammate in 92 by more than 2 seconds at some tracks, at Spa I think it was nearly 3.

I know he was a moaning old goat, but he made F1 great, with his battles with Senna and Prost, the good old days.

However - The only reason that MS is in the best machinery is because he brought the best people to Ferrari and tested and improved on the car to make it the best.

Ferrari IMO were in a right old state until MS came in with his astronomical paycheque, but right now I think he looks like bloody good value. http://www.turbosport.co.uk/images/smilies/cool.gif

Mansell may have had the best car on the track but the difference was marginal not head and shoulders above like Ferrari. I think everyone thinks Ferrari's tactics are spot on but I don;t think they play much of a part when the car is that much better than the rest of the field.

True m8. When a Dyed in the wool "Tifosi" like me aint that botherd it says it all. dont get me wrong tho i think Ferraris achevements over the last 2 years are still gobsmacking an im very proud of the team in that sense but i hate a one horse race and things have got to change big time for next season.
Think i might put my Jordan hat on for next year anyway
