:violin: hi all. im dan and im a new boy to the new skool. i used to be old skool but ive now defected and got an S1 XR3i. its a 1985 nail! it strangely had all the custom pack and black paint from new and im the second owner but the first was a bodger so im picking up the peices and restorng it now (see my pics)
the only thing missing is the rear windows they were replaced cos some TW@T broke the windows to get at the stereo (standard ford!!??) its got 17" o-z 5spokes and an RS S1 kit and a brand new engine cos the first died a week after i had it! (oil pump-big ends!) then it had asecond new engine after it did it again after i went to devon and back after i ran it in :mad:
it was the bottom end again! and it got replaced for nowt so im happy! its also got a 90 spec interior just cos i got given it whan me mate wrote his turbo off! like i said i used to be old skool cos me first car was a mk1 1300xl which i (straight) swapped for a mk2 1300l which was painted imperial blue with 8" minilights which didnt touch the arches at all!!! anyway hi and i'l keep posting my pics as i go!:thumb:
