ive knocked up an Eng Drawing of the inlet flange.........
attached, its the inlet flange for those who want to get them laser cut or something. ive attached a Catia drawing too so you can give it straight to the engineering shop if they use catia (version VR17)
i havent tested it but when printing it out it matched an inlet manifold gasket i had.
i made it with a tolerance of +/-1mm so if you want anything more accurate do it yerselves :D
feel free to share it with other forums etc
Re: ive knocked up an Eng Drawing of the inlet flange.........

Heya,
Take an look at this...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=330285937966
This guy places them often. i'm using 1 for in my project. it fits perfect.
Re: ive knocked up an Eng Drawing of the inlet flange.........
i will try to remember to compare it to the drawing i made.(made loads and they fit fine;)) i will drop you a pm if i find anything way different. +/- 1mm is quite a lot but mines only give or take 1/2 a thumb:D
the guy on ebay is reasonable for prices for sure.
can anyone do an autocad from this ? i have one that gives most dimensions but it was never finished for me. most laser places accept dfx format.
Re: ive knocked up an Eng Drawing of the inlet flange.........
I can redraw that in AutoCAD but there are some critical dims missing, e.g port spacings, mounting hole OD's, so would be impossible without also i guess the external rad's and dim's are not critical?
Re: ive knocked up an Eng Drawing of the inlet flange.........
port spacing is there, bottom left

tell me whats missing, i'm sure i've not missed anything out.
the reason for ther +/- 1mm is that i made it from an inlet manifold gasket, so its only going to be as accurate as the thing i made it out of. which isn't very :D
Re: ive knocked up an Eng Drawing of the inlet flange.........
Can I have an Zetec exhaust flange drawing and AutoCAD file please :D
Re: ive knocked up an Eng Drawing of the inlet flange.........

Re: ive knocked up an Eng Drawing of the inlet flange.........
I forgot about this, possibley attached is a pdf of an autoCAD drawing of what i can do with the info i have. ( I have assumed stud hole of 8mm)
There is a slight cross up, at the stud hole marked 'A' there is a difference of 0.54mm
Let me know if you want me to and if you do how to go from here!
