They give cheap quotes but watch the small print. They are cheap but I will never use them again and know of others with the same opinion.

yeah... definately double check the small print with them as the quoted price on the phone may not be anywhere near what you have to pay also be careful when cancelling your policy. so far i've been trying to cancel mine for a week via telephone, email and even snail mail

the problem was when I tried to change to a different vehicle. they quoted me an amount, which I agreed to, then I got the insurance documents through with the same amount. the direct debit amount however was around than twice what they had told me it would be. i could be an isolated case though

i got annoyed with them and cancelled it after one payment, but when you cancel you have to send them a letter about a week before you want to cancel the policy.

    Re: Adrian Flux

There are lots of hidden costs, especially when changing policy to another car etc. In my case the took money from my bank for a new policy without my permission. They then refused to pay me back so and I had to get my credit company involved. Throughout the whole proccess they were extremely unhelpful, arrogant and rude. Finally they did pay be back minus a £25 policy set up fee!! The cheek.

    Re: Adrian Flux

We have found them to be very competitive on kit car insurance with no problems so far, as with all insurance the devil is in the detail- I'm aware that changing vehicles etc involves an extra cost but we changed wheels and tyres (dramatically) and they noted the schange without billing us, so it is thumbs up from us!

    Re: Adrian Flux

have to say they gave me the best price by far last time i swapped insurers.. the price did go up from the initial quote to the final, but not by much and i added quite a few extras.

also this year i added my engine swap (from 1300 to 1700) and it made no difference in premium, generally happy with them. but like all insurance companies their fine when your giving them money, but it always gets harder if they have to give some back

Yep always used performance direct but Adrian flux beat them this year by a long shot both on the focus and the manta/pug. Did charge me 25 quid to swap from manta to pug but no probs in doing so
