Single row Ceramic bearing vs double row ball bearing for Turbos

Hi, I wanted to kindly ask for your opinion on what type of bearing would you prefer for a turbo in a track car - Single row Ceramic bearing or double row ball bearings please? There is a lot of push towards ceramic bearings so was wondering if one row ceramic would out perform a dual-row ball bearing in a billet hybrid turbo. Thanks ahead for all the input

In performance terms you are unlikely to notice or be able to measure any notable difference! A single may offer less rolling resistance but the dual will give a longer more reliable life. The most important aspect with turbo bearings is oil supply - not only pressure but oil temp as high temps will destroy the bearing cages so IMO cool oil and water cooling of the cartridge will be of more use for either bearing used.
