looking good and good to see flat original block, not the replacement criss cross one, it will be mowing grass by spring!

head back on. ran it for a while just to make a final check for oil leaks before sand blasting. started much easier than before and ran without a problem

thanks guys really glad you're enjoying it.
@ exboyracer parts like oil seals still available from new holland because the tractors will still work when the bodywork has long rusted away! more and more bodywork being remade but like the escorts quality not 100% but better than nothing

    Wink Re: Ford 5000 tractor

Got my rims last week end, now painted with new tyres (€350 each)!

now that its finished the plan is to drive it as much as I can for the next two weeks just to make sure everything is ok. local show is on 10 miles away and I'll have to drive it there so I need things to be right before going on the road

Thanks for looking and all your kind comments and support. will post pics of the show afterwards.

I've not checked this for a while, you have done a great job on that, looks like new now !!!

After seeing the 1st few post's i stopped looking, my mate is into old Massey's and keeps finding them a reasonable prices and nearly talked me into getting one, now i live out in the country .............. seeing your work nearly tipped me over the edge and i actually went to look at one with him, but he said it wasnt right so left it, so decided to leave and not look at your thread anymore

Cracking job mate ................... i must resist, i must resist
