I doubt very much if it's the planes causing problems, it's all down to atmospherics
Press SERVICES, then 4 then 6
The 2 bar should be over half way when its not raining, if they are lower than that you need to realign your dish.

Unless you've got tree's in the way, it should help to get it aligned, pretty sure B&Q sell buzzer to do it, unless you don't like getting up a ladder.

You're not getting water in the 'horn' thingy in the middle of the dish are you? I had that problem and it always took a while for it to dry out.
We lose signal when it rains really heavy, but ive checked our signal and its over 3/4
REALLY heavy rain will still make you lose signal, a bigger dish will help or a better quality LNB.Originally Posted by Sharon

You could move to somewhere where it doesn't rain
Downside is you may need a 4m dish to get the BBC
