Does anyone on here use skype,and if so is it any good

the missus had one for a while, shes italian and her family call regularly

very good if youve got family/friends on skype who contact you alot, or youve got people with skype phones you can call.... the credits you get only allow free calls to skype phones and to recieve from skype computers you cant call people on computers from the phone (or at least thats how it was). your credits can call normal phones but at a no better tarrif than any other normal PAYG phone.

as far as i know you buy credit per month which dosnt roll over. so it basically costs 10quid a month min, you get some credit to call other phones, i would only say it has benfits if you get overseas calls via skype, or know people with skype phones to call with your free credits... not any better for general use

my step daughter uses the skype phone, you only need to top it up every 90 days to keep the skype activated, but every 30 days to use as conventional phone, she thinks very highly of it.
