    Cossie crank on ebay???

    Crank on Ebay

    was just cruising ebay looking at cossie stuff and saw this!



    You can see I've highlighted the questionable area! I still maybe wrong but as far as I knew the cossie crank shafts have a double 'key' at the pulley end, as you can see this one only has a single!

    Certainly the two I've seen before had two keys....
    ....some people will sell anything on ebay!!

    Yes they have 2 woodruff keys, very easy to remove so looks like one is missing, they cost something like 50p to replace

    without 1st inspecting it i would't pay a penny! Could have a flywheel bolt snapped off in the end (i've seen this happen before) and it may not be reground but it might NEED to be reground, but you won't know for sure until you see it! Could also be bent (along it's horizontal axis).

    yeah, went through all that when getting one myself! not something to buy on ebay anyway!!

    That's 100% a 2wd Cossie crank I know well it should be- cos its a pic of my old crank and I took it

    btw,I can't rem there being two keyways in that crank, yet its deffo a 9 bolt one

    Is that 9 flywheel bolts?? another way of identifying a cossie crank maybe??
