siobhan's football

siobhan played for everton u12's girls last season where they beat everyone put in front of them.
every year the girls have to have trials to get back into the team.this year the everton girls u14's manager left and another guy took over without knowing any of the girls.the trials are meant to last 2 weeks,they ended up lasting 2 months.
anyway,siobhan didn't make the team much to the dismay of me and all the girls who did get in.siobhan had only played for them for a year,some of the girls who never got in had been at everton for 5 or 6 years.
her manager from last year also left the club.he rang siobhan to see if she wanted to play in an international football tournament being played in liverpool,she said ok and played for kingsley in the tourney.
3 of the girls who used to play for everton but never made the team for next season were playing for kingsley.they ended up playing everton in the semi-final.they were 1-0 down at half time but came back to win it 2-1,the everton girls were crying and some of them wouldn't shake hands(i was so glad for them for beating everton).the final was played against brazil girls again being 1-0 down getting it back to 1-1 by the final whistle.1-1 after extra time sent it into pens.siobhan went in goal for the penalties,she saved 1 and scored the winner,winning the trophy for kingsley .
i know i'm her dad but i think everton have made a mistake not picking her for next season but thats their loss.
she has now gone back to crosby stuarts and they are seriously over the moon to have her back.

Shame she didn't make it back in Shaun, I bet that was hard on her. Sounds like they have missed out though. Well done to Siobhan in winning the match. And well done to you too for supporting her the way you do.

a typical example of karma shaun, the new boss made a mistake then he got his arse bitten, seriously though all the best of luck to her at her new/old team, well done she's clearly better of without them, watch their performance this season bet they dont do half as well as they have been doing

i think she will have a good season with crosby stuarts,she seemed happier when she played for them.
everton want her to trial again next year.
she could have trial'd for liverpool but she wanted to go and play for crosby for a year,as long as thats what she wants then thats ok with me.
this will be her 7'th season,she is still only 12 and football is all she talks about and all she wants to do.as for supporting her,i'd go to the ends of the earth for any of my kids(as long as it doesn't clash with metal detecting lol)
no doubt i'll be keeping you all informed on how she's getting on lol.
i'll see if she wants to come to the BBQ,we can have a game of 11 aside
