    underseal / stonechip

    hi all im painting underneath my mk1 i wanna put some sort of protection underneath it before i paint it what is the best stuff to use.as i want it to look paint finish at the same time is there some really thin stuff you can get any pointers would be great thanks

    another one for recommending Raptor, and you can also get it in a tintable version so can colour it to your choice

    Thanks guy that still looks a bit thick would like it super smooth but protection as well maybe worth doin costs of primer and then paint but that's still not as good as underseal stone chip

    On mine I used Tetra Shutz which came out quite smooth think I used 4 cans. Primed first then seam sealed then used the tetra shutz then 2 packed over the lot.Pics on page 5.

    Thanks guys that terason stuff is that how it comes out of the bottle of have ya gotta thin it down can get that terason through work as we use there products here

    A seen a car that had been done in the tinted raptor that was thined down looked like it had just been painted with paint finish was stunning

    the terason is straight out of the can, i didnt use any thinning. pretty easy job
