i did my dissertation in 8 days but then i did only get 40% for it (woops) although to this day its one of the few projects i did that i was totally happy with when i handed it in.. im sure it was because i called the guy marking it MR and Not Dr (which he wrote a comment on er )... and because he was a fool who didnt understand my genius

but i still got a 2:1 in the end , so you should be fine, hope all goes well

Mine brief said maximum said 80 pages (which means minimum apparantly). My girl friends was only 8000 last year, she did it in a week ive spent months interviewing project managers and setting up an online questionnaire, for the same award, no fair! I'm doing research for mine at the moment. But it's not a proper dissertation, it's 2 x 4000 word Research Projects. Very dull and the fact that I spend all day on Turbosport instead of researching says it all I think!

Yeah it will do, it hasnt been tested on 'the' car but it has been tested on a normal road car. A fellow pupil further developed the digital dash I made last year.

It has launch control, and when you hit 60mph it tells you your acceleration and 60ft times via the digital dash. It also has a built in laptimer.

Soon mate, im finishing my degree, then im going to look at the feasibility of selling them, I want to get into the motorsport electronics business when I leave.

Btw the foruma student cars are awesome. I drove last years car over the easter period. 0-60 in 4.6 seconds is mindblowing, its hard to comprehend whats going on!

That looks like formula student to me! i did automotive eng here at loughborough for my first year, but it was beyond my mental capacity so i changed courses, fair play to you dont envy writing that one up
