North Weald?

I keep seeing the "Test & Tune" days at North Weald on Men & Motors. Does anyone go to these and are they a good day out?

Anyone know the directions there and any dates?

I may just go to have a look at all the motors that turn up!

I went to a drag racing meeting there a few years ago, some very nice cars there. Lots of bikes as well.

To get there you leave the M11 at jct 7 and head for North Weald funnily enough

i have never been to north weald but if you do go and bring the mk1 let me know it would be good to meet another mk1 fan

Duncan, I'm well up for it! But like a real tart the MK1 wont be out till the good weather arrives! Mind you saves on the old TAX & Insurance!! :-)

Mines pretty much standard bar 44IDF's but I'm up for a few runs on the strip! Would be a giggle! Holds off my mates S2 Turbo tho!

BTW, I didn't go to Leda for those struts in the end cause of the cost! Just ordered some AVO Top Adjustables inserts and am having some converted with a coilover kit! Pics to follow on here soon!

North Weald web site is <a target="_blank" href=http://www.dragstrip.co.uk>www.dragstrip.co.uk</a> but it hasnt been updated yet, it still has last years dates on it.

I normally hear when something is on so will post on here when/if i do hear anything.

The show was on last night! It's called "Drag Power" and it was all about Bikes last night.

Mind you there were a few nice cars in the backround too!
