    sky tv problems!!

    when it rains the planes go on some sort of detore,and they fuk up my picture on sky.is my sky knackered or can i stop this happening?

    I doubt very much if it's the planes causing problems, it's all down to atmospherics

    Press SERVICES, then 4 then 6

    The 2 bar should be over half way when its not raining, if they are lower than that you need to realign your dish.

    heavy rain and planes,not together ,always cause problems! cheers FF,i will try that just checked my signal strength,only half way

    Unless you've got tree's in the way, it should help to get it aligned, pretty sure B&Q sell buzzer to do it, unless you don't like getting up a ladder.

    You're not getting water in the 'horn' thingy in the middle of the dish are you? I had that problem and it always took a while for it to dry out.

    We lose signal when it rains really heavy, but ive checked our signal and its over 3/4

    REALLY heavy rain will still make you lose signal, a bigger dish will help or a better quality LNB.

    ever thought of going with telewest?

    tv internet phone £34 quid a month and thats with extra tv channels aswell

    Cant get that where we are I dont think. Im happy with sky anyway
    A larger dish ???? Not on your nelly They are ugly things anyway let alone having a larger dish

    You could move to somewhere where it doesn't rain

    Downside is you may need a 4m dish to get the BBC
