    MoT

Well, I took my car into the MoT station yesterday for its MoT today (11am). Drove it about 3 miles and what a feeling to be in a Cossie again!

Anyway, finished work about 2.30pm and got a lift off my mate to collect my car.

Got there and the MoT Tester said that it ran out of petrol on the ramp while they were testing it .How embarrasing! I felt like a right .

    The result...............

    Re: MoT

    Luz,

I only put £5 of petrol in it cos the garage is known for "testing" your car. Don't get me wrong the guys in there are great, they just like to "try out" good motors. Loads of TVRs in there too!

So I thought if I only put a bit of petrol in the car they wont take it for a spin
I obviously didn't put enough in for the MoT! They had to push it on and off the ramp!

And 3 guys asked me if I wanted to sell it there and then................my answer?

    NOEFFINWAY!!!

    Re: MoT

I'm really chuffed! I know it sounds silly, but it's a weight off your shoulders when you get the pass certificate
Had to laugh though, The MoT guy said "see you next year, but with petrol this time!!"

And Shaz, It was worth all the hard work. I didn't take too long to put the engine and gearbox in, it was all the little bits that took the time. Feels like i'm back in the land of the living!
