    Another S2000 Mk2

I've finally made a start on my Escort. The 15" arches, tubs and front spoiler are on order aswell as a dry sump tank. I am waiting for the Dry sump kit and the throttle bodies to come too. I have just fitted the tubular crossmember which looks really trick. It will be a bit of a long drawn out build due to having two back operations this year and am still sore and stiff (my back) and also funds !

Anyway, here's a few photies. I'll post more as the car gets done.

    Cheers, Kev.

Thanks Trig, Needs quite a bit of work doing, to get it how I want it to be though. Shell is mint , seems a shame to cut away to get the big arches etc ! Oh and that crappy axle is outta here !! Atlas on way.

At the moment I'm thinking of track days and maybe the local hill climbs. I've sold my enduro bike and jetski due to my back, but needed some sort of toy - and you can't get better than an angle maker ! Think rallying is out due to the jumps and bumps - will have to see in a year or so. (Plus I can't be trusted rallying another Mk2 as I rolled my last one or should I say endoed it)

Lovely Car Mate keep the pictures coming.

I thought that in order to run leaf springs and four link bars that slipper springs were required or am i wrong?

A few things have changed. Now got the compression struts and in-situ bottom arms on.(Anti dive kit and antiroll bar gone.) Also the motor has the dry sump pan and pump on now. Not got the throttle bodies bolted on yet. More pics soon.

Nice job, don't suppose you have a measurement to hand for the compression strut positioning

Beautiful lookin mk2 that Be great with the new engine too

What are the benefits of that tubular x-member apart from the weight? I realise you are chassis mounting the engine
