    Project S

    Thought i would post some pics of the Capri,engine out last night but wheather is shite tonight but other 1 is ready to go in







    Bloody lot of room in there i wonder ...........





    I think it looks phat with the 7.5`s on just gotta get a couple more tyres

    Engine is in and running just gotta change the water pump as thats wanked still better it goes now than when im out in it

    Now fitted with the obligatory K+N air filter



    I have cut out and replaced the rear spring hanger and fixed the eleccy probs that it failed the mot on just gotta paint the spare door and fit and mot it (sounds simple ay)

    had her up and down my road today ( and the car ) fuck me the steering with the 71/2`s on is worse than driving some of the tractors at work pulls like a bitch to the kerbside as well so that needs looking at but the motor seemed ok cant wait

    oooh you have a capri as well

    I see the coolant was the same colour as the wifes took me two hours yesterday afternoon to flush the whole thing out. still it worked and temperature gauge is in the right place now. just 101 little jobs left to do on it.

    Yeah Dave i just love it especially when i rang Expressed Ripoff and they cant do me any panels for 3-4 weeks fucking waste of time they charge enough for the bastads so why not have them on stock

    I Rang MWR And I Got A Lot Of Parts For My Capri.
    Think I Paid About £55 For A Wing,Seemed To Fit Pretty Well.

    I got a wing from my local panel supplier but i need a inner sill and outrigger and they do a repair panel for the bottom of the A post/splashguard area but im not waiting 4 weeks i`ll make the bits i need it wont b quite as nice but i wanna be cruising to the ford fair not walking

    Bustem, just seen this thread. I used to have a 2.0 sport capri and I put 7.5" RS 4 spokes on that. It was lowered a bit and it looked really good. Think they suit the capri better then anything else, but thats IMHO, not everyones taste!!

    yeah ive got the 7.5`s on it it looks the dags but ive gotta get a couple of tyres for the back,its a bit wide with 235`s
    Can u remember what tyres u had on the 7.5`s and how much u lowered it by

    if I remember rightly, they were 205's Was lowered 1" I think. good old lowering blocks!!

    Ha i love rust me...not! In the same situation as you james, been poking at the harrier and found a 5p sized bit of rot on the floor near the seat x-member, then looked under the car and found a little strip of rot about 3cm long, about 30 mins later ive only cut about 6x3 inches of floor out and there was still rotten bits around it! All plated up now, just the tankwells and passenger a panel to sort then i can grind the pidgeon shit welds down and send the car for painting hopefully
