Mk1 Cortina - what to look for???

Been offered a Mk1 Cortina not seen it yet, I am guessing they go in all the places escorts go. Is there any other hot spots to look at.
I have been told its clean and slightly modified (not sure if its engine or box or not)
Its taxed and moted (short) , 1660 crossflow, 5 speed, what you think its worth?
Oh the bad bit its Green
Do all the escort goodies fit on?
Lots of questions I know, but got to get me a motor before santa pod.

usual places yes. pay attetion to out riggers under front floor pans,top plates ,rear arches ect.escort rear axel parts will fit you can fit rack,legs lot of work i did it on mine worth it ! beware pannel prices are mad compared with escorts ive just orded 2 front wings for mine £325 each plus vat !!!!! fiberglass pannels can be got a lot cheaper. ive got a pr in for sale (plug) good luck the more mk1s the better what its worth had to say go low try your luck
