There is actually a medical condition called SAD (seasonal affectedness disorder) where basically the weather dictates your mood, state of mind and can affect your overall health.
My dads mate had it and it was terrible, although we all feel down when its crappy to some extent.
It gets me quite severely every year. As soon as the autumn weather sets in I do nothing but sleep. I can spend weeks doing nothing but working all day, coming in and lying on the sofa sleeping until I go to bed. When I say I hibernate for the winter I mean it literally. I don't get fed up or depressed, just can't stop eating and don't want to do anything at all. I usually put on a stone in the winter, unfortunately the last couple of summers I haven't lost it again.
Raining here today too, still, got a chance to get all my electrics done downstairs, and move all the furniture back where it cam from. Then i looked out of the window and was sad, because you can almost see the XR rotting away with the rain now
oh well.
Cheers,
Steve
doesn't bother me to be honest.. i do like the sun but i'm glad of a break from it this year as it's been so hot. plus Autumn is probably my favourite season of the year... still sunny but mild temperatures and the nights don't draw in that fast.
hopefully September will be hot. We still have a lot of things to sprout veg in the garden yet. pray:
