The BRM does it for me, nothing sounds as nice right through the rev band from idle 1500rpm, right up to 11,500rpm. mmmmmmmmmm

Andy Burtons rally car sounds bloody awesome in full cry! I've seen it several times on rallies and you can hear it for miles echoing through the trees! Its the muttz nutz!

Nick Mason made a CD of several "good sounding" cars years ago. The BRM V16 is on it, as is the ERA and the Ferrari 250 GTO. Have that CD here, with Mason commenting on all cars/engines.

I watched the incar from a Rover 25 a few years ago, lapping Knockhill with a Rover V6 under the bonnet. It just sounded so right.

The 6R4 is still my ultimate dream car though.
