    Fram filter on xflow - any good?

    Got my engine started up at last after a fresh rebuild and was supplied with a couple of fram filters, are they any good??

    Oil filters I assume? They are OK but nothing special.

    I was told most oem filters are made by FRAM anyway. They are big in America. I've never had issues running them either.

    I know burton sell motorcraft filters but was told their no good.

    i wanna know where some of these rumours start. Iv'e been using motorcraft on my high revving cossie for ages now, and my turbo cosworth too. no problems whatsoever.

    motorcraft was ford oe so cant be that bad!

    were talking about oil filters on an x/flow here not bits for a space shuttle! pretty much any oil filter will do!

    I'm just trying to find out what's best, I've read FRAM are better on the xflows then motorcraft. I'm not a oil filter expert so that's why I ask the people that know best (that's you lot by the way) thanks

    Don't think it really matters what oil filter you use, all do the same job....
