thinking of selling my 4.1 english lsd, this is the first time i have had a good look at it and spotted a bit of damage, can anyone tell me if it`s worth bothering about.

Is this from a previous assembly maybe ? ... ie some debrise or work done in the past but know long active
A strip down & inspect should tell yah maybe.. English cwp rated at about 250 horses approx?
That casing likely stronger..

I'd be more worried about finding where that chunk of metal has gone, I've seen casings split but not there before. English good for 250hp....maybe for trips to Tesco's.
Why did you remove the diff ? because of noise,clonk etc or just coz you need to sell it ?
If it's still all working ok, i'd leave it in there.
As to it's worth, ?? right money to right person on any given day TBH. Most slippers built up in a ratio would start at £350/£400 IMO
i got it years ago as a rebuilt unit supposedly... and it`s been sitting in the loft since and as i`m thinking of putting an ATB in the van, i thought id get this away and put monies towards the new one
i`m going to give it to the chap that usually does my diff/gearbox etc. and see what he thinks

What's the other side look like which isn't damaged?
hi m8, the other side was fine, now had the diff checked and all is ok, chap even deburred the casing
What's a rs1600 z f Lsd worth with a few hundred miles on it from new ? Been offered 1 but was wondering what's it worth?
