Is there any megasquirt genius's on here?

Hi im trying to put megasquirt in my mk3 escort, its running a 2.0 zetec on throttle bodies. Ive got the labeled wires for the fuel injection side of things but not for the ignition. Its meant to be set up to run ford EDIS system but i dont really know what to connect up what i need to connect it up???? Electrics are my worst nightmare but i cant let it beat me......what i could do with is a wiring diagram easy enough for a child to understand.......someone could even do it with coloured crayons!!!( only joking!) no really can anyone do me a wiring diagram thats easy to understand??

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

"megasquirt genius's" IMO thats an oximoron, anyone with a high IQ would have brought a cheaper MBE

However it cant be hard to make a decen loom for one, can you not get a loom diagram ? or the pinouts, then you coule use a ohm meter to find which wires go where

Thanks for that thread, i kinda understand it now although im now a bit worried that there is so many people that have problems with it but hey ill give it a go.

Yep thats the diagram im using and its very easy to understand.

i dont really see the problem with the mj, its about £150 or less, all in and it will allow me to map both my engines fairly easily. Got a rolling road at college to use for free and will borrow my brothers wideband lambda meter thing. I only bought it as i dont want to use a std dizzy with my turbo engine!
