right well after not having a garage since the end of december i have now just about got myself sorted and started on the projects again, here is a small update on what i have done with the anglia, only been working on it today as the mini is the main proirity at the moment, but i got some standard shafts from fossie a while back , thanks mate, but obviously they are just ford 4 stud, and ive still got 5 stud wheels,,, so as at the moment i am only building the frame, i figured it wasnt yet time to dish out a load of money on new centres for my wheels, so i have cable tied the wheels to the shafts to hold em on but there is no stress there, its only for looks
cut out arches and put my axle and wheels in place,
when the wheels were on the axle on the ground they seemed HUGE !
look at them compared to the mini


what you cant see in these pictures is i have sat a mockup cossie engine and a T5 box on the frame temprorarily, this will be positioned properly as soon as i either measure a 2wd sump or manage to buy one

thats probably it for a while on this now,.. need to sort my mini out, will update the thread on that soon

Ant only really got the mini coz he knew it was the only thing that would fit in his huge garage once he put the wheels on the anglia

as lots of you know ive ive got another quite urgent project at the minute which is taking up all my time and money did blow all the dust off of this today tho and think dam ive gotta get this finished!

Never liked anglia's body, but that last pic did change my mind. All anglia need's is wide and _low_ body. Great job so far, but what engine this is going to have and how much power? Because under 400hp just don't do justice to that body and wheels

nope havent even started making the chassis yet, ive been busy with the mini for far too long really... but as its christmas im having YET another change of plans, and am looking to have the facility to run a small block ford engine in the old girl
